- Set up your service as a Timesheet-based product on the Sales Order — Odoo then knows this job is billed by hours worked, not a flat fee.
- Your team logs hours directly against the Task or Project as the work happens — from a phone or laptop, in real time.
- When it's time to invoice, click Create Invoice from the Sales Order. Odoo pulls the logged hours in automatically — no retyping, no reconstructing from memory.
- Review the timesheet detail on the invoice before sending, so the customer sees exactly what they're paying for.
The hours were already tracked once. There's no reason to track them twice.
