The Challenge

BIPOC Business and Professional Network (BIPOC BPN) is a volunteer-led PEI nonprofit supporting BIPOC business owners, professionals, and post-secondary students and trainees. As a small organization run entirely by volunteers with no dedicated IT staff, a simple brochure-style website wasn't enough.

BIPOC BPN needed a platform that could actually run the day-to-day work of the organization — membership sign-ups, event listings, a searchable member directory, and volunteer coordination — not just describe it.

The Approach

Odoo's built-in business tools made it the clear fit over a standard website builder: website, contact and member management, events, and eCommerce for membership sign-ups, all in one connected system.

Silicon Streets implemented and now hosts the platform, giving BIPOC BPN's volunteer team the tools to manage the organization directly, without needing ongoing technical support for routine changes.
