Why it matters

Buying reactively means rush shipping and worse terms. A reorder rule tells you to buy before you run out.

Your 15-minute practice (in your trial instance)

1. Go to Purchase → Vendors → New and add a supplier, then link it on your Day 4 product's Purchase tab.
2. Set a minimum stock level for that product (Inventory → Operations → Replenishment).
3. Create one purchase order and receive it to see stock go back up.

You are done when

a product has a supplier, a reorder rule and one received purchase order.
